Founded in 2012, USIPI is a non-profit think tank that believes thoughtful and relevant research must guide those with decision-making power.
Our unique role is to generate relevant and in-depth research that builds a shared understanding of the situation faced by minority and marginalized communities living in India. Policymakers, NGOs, community leaders, and the general public all benefit from our work.

EDUCATE
Education is the launching pad for how we take our publications and introduce them to the world. Our high-quality publications inform key audiences and inspire them to higher-quality decision-making. We also distribute our publications widely for large-scale knowledge dissemination.

EQUALIZE
Equalizing is about reshaping policies so they are more inclusive and equitable for all. USIPI can’t do it alone and those who have operational models for advocacy can’t do it alone. Policy advocates use USIPI’s evidence-based research and publications to equip them to change policy.
